Birds in the Snow

I've had a vast array of birds today.

The fieldfares have returned


Three robins in a row !!!


The blackbirds like digging in the snow


Redwings have returned also


've never seen Bramblings before


Even the long tailed tit knew which restaurant was guaranteed to be open


And the lovely goldcrest visited too.

I just saw this chappie land on next door's roof. He didn't have dinner though :)

I had this chappie come to the garden with dad. While dad was eating niger seeds, he was chomping away on the ground. He got bored of that and patiently sat in the branches waiting for dad to finish. And waited and waited.

Grey Dagger Moth Caterpillar

I saw this gorgeous chappie today :)

Coal Tit

I was stood quite near the feeder watching this coal tit. I was just the wrong angle with the sun, though. I hadn't seen one for yonks, but now this one has arrived and he's been around quite a bit.
